|  | The enhanced Extended Service Series now features Hamilton’s Precision Integrated HPI™ Swivel Technology. This new technology outperforms conventional CNC-machined ball raceways, kingpinless, and unit load bearing swivel constructions.
The new design improves the bearing’s element of contact and more than doubles the number of contact points. The new HPI™ raceways are also 45% harder than conventional hardened raceways and the surface finish is an incredibly smooth 16 micro inches. | | When grueling loads and continuous operations exist, Hamilton's Extended Service Casters with new HPI™ Swivel Technology are the right choice. ES Series Casters are an excellent choice for use on inplant trailers, towline carts or AGV systems. New to this series is a 2" wide wheel offering, ES Series, specifically designed for continuous duty applications that also feature the new HPI™ Swivel Technology. The ES Series is finished with gray enamel and the EHS Series is finished with red enamel.

Swivel Lock– 4 Position (ES:  -4SL, EHS: -4SL)
–convert swivel to rigid for straight line steering, robotically welded housing & CNC-milled slots assure long lasting, trouble-free performance.
Sealed Swivel Assembly (-SS)
–prolongs caster life in harsh environments, not available with Swivel Lock on ES Series.

QUALITY FEATURES
Swivel Construction – All models have 3/8" thick forged steel mounting plate and horn base. Legs 5/16" x 2 1/2" on ES models and 1/4" x 2" on EHS models.
Kingpin – integrally forged with mounting plate, guaranteed for life, 1" diameter on ES models and 3/4" dia. on EHS models. Both series have slotted nuts secured by cotter pin for positive locking.
Main Load Bearing – HPI™ thrust bearing with outside diameter of 3 1/2"; raceways hardened to 58-62HRC and ground to surface finish 16 micro inches.
Secondary Load Bearing – precision tapered thrust bearing counteracts radial thrust, 1" on ES and 3/4" on EHS.
Axle –Bolt and nut type, 3/4" on ES models and 1/2" on EHS models.
Lubrication Fittings – Ball-check type in swivel assembly and wheel hubs with tapered or straight roller bearings. |
